Blackberry honey has a golden color, a relatively viscous consistency, a unique transparency, and a subtle sweetness with a delicate taste. The water content is lower than in other honey varieties (approx. 16-17%). It is rich in dextrose, levulose, vitamins (B2, B3, B5, C), minerals, and trace elements (calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc). It is antioxidant, anti-diarrheal, tonic, antibacterial, and hypotensive. It has beneficial effects on respiratory conditions, colds, pharyngitis, laryngitis, hoarseness, diarrhea, acne, stress and burnout, high blood pressure, and anemia.

Honey crystallization is an absolutely natural process specific to high-quality honey. Honey does not lose its nutritional properties through crystallization. However, it loses its properties when heated above 108 °F (42 °C), so it is not recommended to heat crystallized honey above this temperature.
