TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

1. Registration on the www.catinasalonta.ro website is free.

2. The services offered by www.catinasalonta.ro are primarily intended for customers in Romania, but we also ship packages abroad with advance payment. In some countries, shipping organic food products by parcel is not permitted.

3. The product delivery method is by parcel. Parcels are sent via Cargus, and shipments to EU countries are handled by DPD or international transport companies (depending on the country). We DO NOT work with the Romanian Post.

4. Customers can pay for products via cash on delivery in Romania (payment upon receiving the parcel), as well as through Netopia or bank transfer. Netopia and bank transfer payments are NOT processed in real-time when placing the order; you will receive payment details via email. For customers outside of Romania, payment is made in advance via Netopia or bank transfer. International shipping rates vary by country and will be communicated to the customer via email or telephone.

5. The www.catinasalonta.ro website operates on a mail-order basis. Most products in our offer are in stock. However, situations may arise where a specific product appears available in the online stock but is not physically present in the warehouse. The customer will be called and notified of this, and if they made an online card payment, the value of these products will be fully refunded to the account linked to the card used for payment.

6. Order cancellation: orders that have not been shipped can be canceled by sending an email with this request or by calling one of our phone numbers.
7. Product returns can be made within 30 calendar days of receiving the order.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal according to GEO 34/2014 art.16:
– products that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
– sealed products that cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed by the consumer.
Shipping costs for returns are borne* by the customer according to the law. The customer will receive the money for the returned products via bank transfer within a maximum of 5 days from the date we receive the returned items.

8. Unclaimed parcels: We do not assume responsibility for situations where the parcel is returned to us because the address was incorrect or the recipient did not pick up the parcel. It is the customer’s obligation to provide the correct address in the order and to pick up the parcel shipped by us. The refund of an advance payment can be made at the customer’s express written request; however, the customer is eligible to receive the remaining amount after we deduct the costs related to the return of the parcel (borne by us) and any bank or Netopia fees.

9. www.catinasalonta.ro does not assume liability for parcels not picked up by the customer, or for parcels where the customer provided an incorrect address or an incorrect phone number.

10. www.catinasalonta.ro reserves the right to change prices without prior notice to customers. If the prices displayed for certain products are not updated, when a customer places an order for such a product, they will always be notified of the updated price before the order is processed. No order is sent to the customer if the displayed prices do not match the current prices, without the customer’s consent.

11. Confirmation of online orders is done via email or telephone. The customer is obligated to provide a valid email address to receive the order confirmation. Otherwise, the customer has the option to place the order by phone with one of our operators.

12. The customer’s personal data is used exclusively for processing and shipping orders; www.catinasalonta.ro guarantees the confidentiality of customer data. The email address and/or phone number may be used to send information regarding promotions and offers. The customer can opt out of these notifications at any time from their account.

13. Any possible disagreement between www.catinasalonta.ro and customers will be resolved amicably by mutual agreement. If the parties do not reach an agreement, the dispute will be resolved through mediation, and if a consensus is still not reached, in court according to the laws in force.
14. The fiscal payment document is the cash-on-delivery receipt from the courier, which is issued in your name. and specifies the payment for our company. A fiscal receipt is NOT issued; according to the Fiscal Code, a fiscal receipt is only issued for cash payments directly between parties, not in the case of mail-order shipments where a third party is involved, namely the courier company that collects the money.
15. www.catinasalonta.ro may refuse an order without any obligations between the parties and without the Customer being able to claim damages in the following situations:
– failure/invalidation of the online transaction; non-acceptance of the transaction by the Customer’s card-issuing bank;
– incomplete or incorrect Customer data;
– the Customer’s activity may cause damage to the www.catinasalonta.ro website and its partners;
– at least 2 (two) consecutive failed deliveries;
• other objective reasons, for example: including but not limited to the situation where the Customer does not guarantee that the payment method is valid and not obtained through a fraudulent method, or there are suspicions regarding the payment method.

Order cancellation can be done by phone if the parcel has not been shipped.
